wall and window wall manufacturing industry. We provide the highest level
of integrity, accountability and professional service to each customer.
General Overview
Since our founding in 1981, Texas Wall Systems has become a leading supplier of engineered architectural framing systems for high-rise office buildings, office campuses, medical buildings and other major commercial complexes throughout the United States. TWS products are now being furnished to international markets as well.
Our administrative and primary engineering headquarters is in Dallas, Texas. All materials are fabricated, assembled and glazed in our own 82,000-square foot plant in Alba, Texas (75 miles from Dallas), and our new 41,000-square feet assembly and glazing facility will be completed this May. TWS also has engineering groups located in Denton, Texas and at our Alba manufacturing facility.
Texas Wall systems has experienced staffs of engineering, estimating and manufacturing personnel-each with more than 20 years management-level experience in high-rise construction. They-and all-TWS employees take pride in being very responsive to clients' needs.
Over the decades, we've completed more than 400 projects requiring in excess of 21 million square feet of framing material. We've watched the market evolve from relatively simple buildings 15-20 years ago to very complex buildings today. At Texas Wall Systems, we are committed to providing quality products designed to meet these changing requirements.
In early 2006, TWS was acquired by Oldcastle Glass to become a part of its Engineered Products Division. Oldcastle Glass is a subsidiary of CRH plc, an international building materials and products company based in Dublin, Ireland. Larry and its entire staff at TWS is excited about this new endevour. TWS will be able to draw upon Oldcastle Glass' depth of capabilities and financial resources to bring greater value to our customers. In his new role as general manager of Texas Wall Systems, Larry will report directly to the vice-president of Oldcastle Glass' Engineered Products division.
