• AutoCAD Drafter •
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the follow. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Use Autocad drafting techniques to prepare clear, complete and accurate working detailed drawings of aluminum curtainwall for buildings, according to architectural drawings and specifications, as directed by a supervisor.
  • Detail drawings to consist of, but not limited to, building floor plans, elevations, assembly-and-seal details and cross sectional details for aluminum curtainwall systems.
  • Will work closely with Supervisor and other CAD Technicians as a member of a team.

    QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Entry-level Candidate must have completed training in architectural drafting and AutoCad 2000. Experience with MS Word and Excel is also required. Construction and blueprint reading experience is a plus.
  • Minimum of two years experience working for Curtainwall or Window and Door contractors, with a proven history of producing Shop Drawings.
  • Must be able to read, interpret and extract all necessary information from in- house and architectural drawing and documents as well as structural drawings in order to prepare Shop Drawings according to company standards.
  • Must exhibit demonstrable specific experience in the curtainwall field.
  • All candidates must be proficient in Autocad 2000 and above, knowledge of Microsoft products such as Word and Excel.
  • Must have strong math skills with the ability to apply concepts of trigonometry and geometry.
  • Good oral/verbal and written communication skills.
